Is this insurance? Does it replace my insurance?
No, Primeary isn’t insurance, and it doesn’t replace it. It’s a membership for direct, ongoing care with a doctor. You still use your insurance for specialists, emergencies, or hospital visits.
Primeary is what fills the gap — consistent, personal care from someone who takes the time to get to know you.
Tell me again what's included in the subscription?
Unlimited messaging, phone calls, and video visits with me as your doctor. You get timely care, thoughtful answers, prescriptions, referrals, lab orders, imaging coordination, second opinions, and preventive planning.
What if I need to be seen in person?
Great question. In my experience, most care today can be handled virtually and asynchronously. If, however, we determine that you need to be physically examined, I will arrange to see you at an affiliate clinic. This will be at no extra cost to you.
Do you cover the cost of medication?
Prescriptions are written as part of your care — I’ll send them to your preferred pharmacy or help you access them through insurance. Medication costs aren’t included in the subscription, but I’ll help you find the best option, whether it's cash-pay or through your insurance.
What if I need blood work?
I partner with trusted labs that offer home-based blood draws, so you don’t need to visit a clinic. I’ve also negotiated deeply discounted cash rates — and you’re welcome to submit the receipt for insurance reimbursement. Once the results are in, I review them personally and follow up with a clear, actionable plan.
What if I need a vaccine or injection?
I partner with a home health agency to provide in-home injections and vaccinations when needed. You can also choose to visit a partner clinic to receive them. Either way, you’ll get access to transparent, cash-friendly pricing, all coordinated by me.
What if I need an imaging test, like x-ray or CT scan?
Same approach: I refer you to a partner imaging center, and you get access to deeply discounted cash pricing. Once the results are back, I review and explain them in detail — and help you decide what to do next. You are welcome to submit the receipt for insurance reimbursement, but the cash rates are substantial (~50% discounts).
Will I still need to see other doctors?
Possibly — especially for procedures or specialty care. But I’ll coordinate everything and stay in the loop so your care feels connected, not fragmented.
Can I use this if I live outside Dubai?
Yes. In-person services must be fulfilled in Dubai, but virtual care works wherever you are. If you’re based internationally, I can still provide second opinions and guidance — just reach out and ask me.
Can I sign up my kids?
Unfortunately, no. My area of expertise is in adult medicine (age 18 to end of life). That said, I’m happy to coordinate with pediatricians or specialists for your family’s care and help guide decisions as needed.
How quickly do you respond?
For urgent concerns, within minutes. For everything else, same-day replies are the norm. You’re not waiting days — or guessing who will reply.
But I have insurance - why should I pay extra for this?
My favorite question!Most people with insurance still feel lost — bouncing between clinics, waiting weeks for rushed visits, never quite sure who to turn to.This changes that. For about the cost of a few restaurant meals, you get one doctor, who knows you, who you can reach directly, and who handles it for you.Insurance is about reimbursement. Primeary is about relationship.
